An enquiry reaches EVRINTH by the pages that already exist, not by a path this article has to imagine. Three of them matter for a specification. The contact page carries a message. The quotation page carries selected products plus a requirements field, and it will not submit an empty list. The laboratory procurement page is the written route for a structured specification, and it sends you onward to contact. How to compose the specification itself is how to write a laboratory sourcing enquiry. University laboratories can also read academic research.

This glossary defines those routes in the words the pages use. It does not add a telephone number, a portal, or a promised interval. The contact page shows the published email address and postal address beside the form. The enquiry this article describes is the form, because the form is what returns a reference.

What you are choosing

You are choosing which existing page matches the file you have. If you have a specification and no catalogue record selected, the contact message is the fit. If you have one or more product records selected and you want quantities plus a written specification, the quotation page is the fit. If you are still deciding how to structure the file, read the laboratory procurement page first and then use the contact button it offers. The scientific content is the same kind of numbered lines in every case. The pages differ in fields.

Catalogue records, when they exist, are independent references for enquiry. Browsing them is not a statement that goods are held, that a distribution right exists, or that a commercial commitment has been made. If a record is not there, describe the item by specification. Do not type stand-in codes.

Contact

The contact page is titled "Start a precise conversation." The introduction asks you to say what you are looking for and to choose the route that fits. Beside the form, the page prints an India location label, the published email as a mailto link, and the published postal address. Those are displays. This article does not describe a separate handling process for messages sent to that email address.

The form fields are: full name, required; work email, required; organisation; country; phone, optional, which is your number if you choose to give one; and a message labelled "How can we help?", required, at least ten characters and at most five thousand. The button reads "Submit enquiry". Under it, the page says that by submitting you agree EVRINTH may use these details to respond to your enquiry. There is no separate consent checkbox on this form.

When the submit succeeds, the page says the enquiry was received, shows a reference, and says a confirmation will be sent to your email. That is the sentence on the page. It does not state how soon a technical reply follows the confirmation. Write the specification in the message: aim, numbered lines, documents, acceptance, and what is out of scope. Five thousand characters is the limit, so a long statement of work may need to be the lines rather than a pasted protocol. Protocols.io remains the place for methods. The message should extract the lines.

Quotation request

The quotation page is titled "Bring your requirements together." The introduction says you review selected products, set quantities, and send one structured request, and that an account is not required.

The selected-product list shows each product name, a catalogue code if the record has one, and the words "No catalogue code" when it does not. You can change the quantity or remove a line. A product record can be added from its own page with the control labelled "Add to sourcing enquiry", when such a record exists. If the list is empty, the page says the quote basket is empty and offers a way to explore products. The submit control stays inactive while that list is empty. An empty list plus a careful paragraph in the requirements box is not yet a request the page will send. Use the contact form for that paragraph instead.

When the list has at least one item, the detail fields are: full name, work email, organisation, and country, all required; phone, optional; intended application, optional; and additional requirements, up to five thousand characters. A required checkbox says you agree that EVRINTH may use these details to respond to this quotation request. The button reads "Submit request".

Put the specification in additional requirements: the aim, the performance lines the selected names do not already state, documents, temperature, acceptance, and exclusions. The product name on the list is not a substitute for the salt form or the unit if those are not in the record. After a successful submit, the page says the quotation request was received, shows a reference, and says a confirmation will be sent to your email. Keep the reference. The page does not show a later tracking step.

Laboratory procurement

The laboratory procurement page is a solution, not a third form. Its summary reads: structured specifications and multi-product quotation requests. The page invites you to explore manufacturer references, compare technical information, and submit your specific procurement or research requirement. It states that individual products and service capabilities must be confirmed before commercial commitments. The side of the page is headed as a research enquiry, asks you to share the study objective and request a sourcing or capability review, and says that no price or turnaround time is implied. The button is "Contact EVRINTH" and it goes to the contact page.

Read that page when you are shaping the file. Send the file with the contact form, or, when product records are selected, with the quotation page. Service pages elsewhere on the site are discussion references. Listing a method there is not a claim that EVRINTH performs the method. A sequencing or proteomics scope is written as in commissioning a sequencing or proteomics study and can be discussed. It is not opened as an operated service by choosing the procurement page.

Words that cause confusion

Selected products means the list already on the quotation page. It does not mean every item you mentioned in prose. Additional requirements means the free-text box on that page, not a second hidden form. The contact message is a different box, on a different page, and it can be sent without a product list. Consent on the quotation page is the checkbox. On the contact page, the agreement is the sentence under the button. A reference is the identifier shown after success. It is not a scientific review, and it is not an acceptance of your specification. Acceptance of goods, later, is still the check you wrote in the enquiry. Records to keep after a delivery starts when something arrives. These pages stop at receiving the request.

Term on the siteWhat it actually isWhat it does not do
Contact messageRequired text, 10 to 5000 characters, sent with your name and work emailIt does not submit the quotation list
Quote basketThe selected-product list on the quotation pageIt does not send while empty; submit stays inactive
No catalogue codeThe label when a selected record has no codeIt is not a code for you to replace with a guess
Additional requirementsOptional text up to 5000 characters beside the listIt does not bypass the need for at least one selected product
Consent checkboxRequired on the quotation page before submitThe contact page uses a sentence under the button instead
Laboratory procurementA solution page whose button opens contactIt does not imply a price or a turnaround time

Three existing routes: the contact form, the quotation page with its product list, and the laboratory procurement page that leads to contact.

When the wrong route is used

The common miss is a finished specification typed into additional requirements with nothing selected. The button does not become active. Move the same text to the contact message, or add a real product record first and then keep the text. Do not invent a code so the list looks populated.

The second miss is a contact message that says "as discussed" and contains no lines. The form will accept it if it is long enough. A person still cannot check it. The route worked. The specification did not. Rewrite using the pillar article, then send again with a new message. The first reference remains the reference of the thin message. It does not absorb the later text by itself.

The third miss is reading the procurement page as a promise about timing or as an operated laboratory service. The page says no turnaround time is implied, and it says capabilities must be confirmed before commercial commitments. Believe that sentence. ISO 9001 is a public standard about documented information. It is not a service level for this website.

Research-use limits

These routes receive a research specification. They do not approve biosafety, ethics, or a diagnostic use. If the material is human, animal, or infectious, the institution decides before you describe samples in a commercial message. Biosafety basics for research benches keeps that boundary. Do not put subject identifiers in either form. A kit class is enough for a product question.

Writing the specification before you choose the route

Heat, humidity, and a power cut belong in the specification as storage and arrival lines when they change the item. They do not belong as assumptions about how fast a form is read. Write the room you have, the temperature evidence you will file, and the acceptance check. NIST's metrology pages are a reminder that checks point at records. Then choose contact or the quotation page based on whether a product list exists. The season does not create an extra route.

What to put in the message

Aim in one sentence. Numbered lines a reply can meet, exception, or refuse. Documents you need. Acceptance. Out of scope. Your name, work email, organisation, and country, because the forms mark those as required on the paths above. Optional phone only if you want it on the form. Consent on the quotation page before you submit.

Send it on the page that matches the file. Keep a copy and the reference the success screen shows. The technical reply, if one is made, is whatever comes back against your lines. This page does not state when that will be.

Questions from the bench

Which page should carry a specification when I have not selected a product record?

Use the contact form. Its message field takes the specification, with a minimum of ten characters and a maximum of five thousand. The quotation page keeps its submit control inactive while the selected-product list is empty, so a specification alone cannot be sent from that page.

Does the quotation page require an account?

The page says an account is not required. You review selected products, set quantities, and submit one structured request. You still complete the required identity fields: full name, work email, organisation, and country, plus the consent checkbox.

What does the reference on the success screen mean?

Both forms show a reference after a successful submit, and both say a confirmation will be sent to your email. Keep that reference with your copy of the specification. The pages do not describe a further status tracker, and this article does not add one.

Is the laboratory procurement page a separate form?

It is a solution page. Its summary is structured specifications and multi-product quotation requests. The page explains that requirements are submitted and that products and service capabilities must be confirmed before commercial commitments. The button on that page goes to the contact page. It does not open a third form.

Manufacturer names identify published method classes. Trademarks remain with their owners. Catalogue records on this site are independent references for enquiry. They are not a statement of inventory, distribution rights or a supply commitment. This page is educational. It is not medical advice, a diagnostic protocol or a biosafety approval.
